If you're a customer who has received a parcel packed in our film, see Return 2 Recycle explained.
Why offer it
- It's part of your service. Tell customers the film in their parcel can be recycled, alongside the rest of your packaging and sustainability information.
- It shows how you choose suppliers. Packaging is one of the first things a customer sees. Choosing a supplier that takes responsibility for the film at the end of its life says something about how carefully you make those choices.
- We pay for the mailer and the postage to your customer. Your customer pays only for a second-class stamp on the return.

How it works for your customers
- They request a free mailer from the form in the Return 2 Recycle section of our sustainability page, or through our contact page.
- They deflate and flatten the film into the mailer.
- They post it back, paying for a second-class stamp.
Most of our films are printed with a QR code that goes to the same form. Our bubble and quilt films carry a "recycle me" message with the website address instead, so customers can find the form straight from the film.
A summary of requests, on request
The form asks which seller or order the packaging came from. If you'd like to know how many of your customers have asked to recycle the film from your parcels, ask us and we'll send you a summary. You can use it in your own sustainability communications. We report numbers and the source, not your customers' personal details.
Ready-to-use wording
The printed recycling information on the film will be clear, but you may also like to promote this service in other areas of your engagement with customers. Here are 6 examples where you can do this. If it becomes popular
We want Return 2 Recycle to work well for you and for your customers. If it proves popular with your customers, it will take more time and cost more to run: arranging mailers, replying to the people who request them, and producing summaries. For very high volumes we may talk to you about sharing some of those costs, in advance and by agreement. It would be a sign that the service is supporting your brand and the sustainable approach you've chosen. We'd rather raise this early than have it come as a surprise.
Worth knowing
- Only Forever Green air cushion film can be returned. Please don't suggest customers send other soft plastics or other suppliers' film.
- Return 2 Recycle does not change what your business must report or pay under extended producer responsibility (EPR) or any other regulation, so check your own obligations with your compliance adviser or scheme.
