There really isn't much these gummed paper tapes can't do. They perform brilliantly in extreme heat or cold, and remain sealed for the life of the box. They could solve your tape problems if you export to different climates and/ or store in sub-zero conditions. Gummed paper tapes out-perform regular tapes, so come recommended for all. Gummed paper tapes work in conjunction with FGP's Paper Tape Dispensers; Mini, Manual; and Automatic.
The paper tapes use an eco-vegetable glue which is activated by moisture from the dispenser. When applied, the paper tape fibres bond with the box fibres so strongly the tape and box become tamper-proof.
This super-strength also means less material vs plastic tape - lowering monetary and environmental costs.
Commonly, gummed tapes use less than half the amount of plastic tapes, meaning....
1 x FGP Gummed 200 metre roll = c. 6 rolls of regular 66 metre plastic tape!
Packers simply release forever-green tape to the desired length, let the dispenser cut the tape, and apply to the box.
The result is less plastic, excellent presentation, better security, great savings and easier to recycle.
